I was driving on the Shirley Highway heading to work in SC on the morning rush hour in my VW Gulf and the fj comes on and says “here’s a new song from the Cranberries and it rocks hard!” And I looked down at the radio and said “rocks?”
And it did.

More an album than a song, but I talked my Mom into driving us to Camelot when Van Halen’s 1984 was released. Couldn’t wait to get home, rip off the plastic and pop it on the turntable. I can still picture sitting in my room in the shag carpet listening to it several times straight through.
