You know what they say about head size?🤣Lens shape (and size) is a huge issue for me. I have a small head so I need small lenses. Most glasses look like I'm a child putting daddy's glasses on.

THIS.. I've gone through them several times.I've used Zenni for years. That's what I always suggest for cheap, quality online glasses

Pineapples also make your jizz taste good according to Peter North. I will def eat more.
or from Walmart? I want to get different types of glasses for fishing/hicking/ boating, working projects ( landscaping, plumbing, construction, etc). My eye center is pretty expensive.
Any suggestions?

With my VSP insurance I picked up a pair of progressives and a pair of computer glasses at costco for less than $150Just an FYI on Costo and VSP insurance
2018 I did not renew eye insurance and paid out of pocket.
2018 costs:
Eye exam: $120
Costco Frames: $60
Progressive lenses: $130
High index 1.67 lens upgrade: $30
($160 total for the lenses)
So, glasses ($220) plus exam ($120) cost me $340 total
2024 costs:
VSP basic plan coverage: $140
Eye exam copay: $15
Retinal scan: $40
(so, $55 for total eye exam)
Costco frames: $0 ($65 list, so $5 higher than 2018, but covered within allowance, basically same frames I had last time that I liked and were very durable)
Progressive lenses & same high index lenses: $163
Insurance benefit: -$115
Lenses were $3 higher than in 2018, frames were $5 more, but I paid $32 less than 2018 for essentially the same end-product.
$140+$55+$65+$163-$113 = $310
Paying for the VSP plan saved me ~$40 overall.
I read this right after I read the Sopranos thread, and I gotta know. Are you Paulie?I only need glasses for long distance vision (basically driving). I can read really tiny print without glasses.
My eye doctor says that people pay BIG MONEY to have the vision that I have at my age, and it's just natural for me.
I thought that was foot size. I'm a size 12. Checks out.You know what they say about head size?🤣
I've bought a few pair from them for backups, but for the quality you're better off at costco/thread
I wear size 13 and it doesn't check out.I thought that was foot size. I'm a size 12. Checks out.
To a certain extent this is true. However mistakes happen..periodically. Mistakes = delays= $$.Once you have a good prescription anybody can make the lenses.

Well there's an exception to every rule.I wear size 13 and it doesn't check out.

Last TWO pair of lenses my bride has bought from Costco have had to be returned as they were completely the wrong RX lense. Two lenses….3 years apart…. Bizarre….We have found the Costco glasses very good for the most part…..I have had good luck with a couple lenses I have bought from a discounter on the east side…and I have had cataract surgery and have an astigmatism….Its a lot of “luck of the draw” I suppose. It is moderately true
There is a substantial difference in some places lens quality.
Last pair I bought from an optometrist's office got a scratch on them (bad one) within 1 week.
I quit buying glasses from those places.
Current Costco pair I have got an edge scratch after >5 yrs, and it's not even that bad. Won't buy lenses from anywhere else, anymore.

Zenne works pretty well. The progressive lenses are less expensive./thread
Do you get regular progressives with them, or the HD type that has a far wider view area w/ less distortion?Zenne works pretty well. The progressive lenses are less expensive.
