Iowa. Started posting here in high school when I had free season tix to UNI football and basketball. Because of connections. That's actually true.
For the record, I don't think this about you. I just think you have an Aspergery need to brag about "inside" friends from home you actually do have without actually sharing anything interesting.
I don't consider it a brag to relay my sources here to back up the stories I break. I think, at my last count, I have 5 friends/family that send me texts before I read stuff on here and on the news. And occasionally I make the mistake of breaking news here
I'm sure you do. A lot of us would appreciate it if you added significant details to those threads instead of simply dittoing the most bland version of those stories/rumors. Not only would those posts go down as contributions, but they'd also give you a lot of credibility if you ended up being right. Nobody cares about a tentative "I've heard rumblings.... that things will come out."

There are over a million more people in Iowa. How could there be nothing there?
I'm guessing the problem is most of them don't realize the majority of "stuff" is Des Moines and east.
