If you're in Iowa that's nuts.Got some radishes and peas planted outside today. Might be pushing it a little, but it’s worth the risk. Can’t wait to eat that first garden fresh radish!
I am in Iowa and it’s not nuts. I’m sure we’ll need to cover the radishes next week, but both are cold tolerant. We did the same thing last year and had great results. I’ll think of you when I eat my first radish. If you're in Iowa that's nuts.

I'll prob start a few frost hardy things early. Snap peas, things like that. Otherwise I just got my seeds going that need 8-10 weeks before last frost and I'll be planting everything else around mothers day like usual.Who is taking the risk? This weather makes me want to get my hands dirty lol.

radish grow in about 35 days so you'll get about 3 rounds if you replant as soon as you pull.Planting some radishes outside in some south facing raised beds against a concrete wall, so they are plenty warm. Weather looks shitty at the beginning of next week, but like Trad said, we’ll just cover them. Might do some peas this week too.
We have a plethora of plants started inside already. Still a couple weeks out for peppers and tomatoes though.
radish grow so fast that if they die you won't lose too much, and typically peas are pretty hardy toward frost.Got some radishes and peas planted outside today. Might be pushing it a little, but it’s worth the risk. Can’t wait to eat that first garden fresh radish!
That’s the plan brother. I love radishes, but my siblings and parents all hate them. CSBradish grow in about 35 days so you'll get about 3 rounds if you replant as soon as you pull.
