Anyone watching NDSU lose to whatever Tech directional school

What was the crappy FCS team that had you beat a year or two ago? McNeese St?

LOL. For a person who dislikes Nebraska you have one good memory.

Yes, McNeese State was a very odd game, and Nebraska probably should have lost it. I make no excuses. Our team was just not into it.

What say you about all the ISU losses? Note that these are actual times Iowa LOST to ISU, not the almost loss that Nebraska flirted with.

Nebraska nearly lost. But ISU has had Iowa's number. Don't they have a winning record against Iowa? That would get a coach at Nebraska fired. But you fools keep giving Mr. Ferentz a nice raise for losing to ISU.

Congrats. I guess?

As always, I am trash talking for fun. I hope this Iowa/NU rivalry pans out. I love you guys and have so many good friends in Iowa. Bring on the negative rep, I am ready, but remember we are very similar if not for Nebraska hiring a couple of GREAT coaches last century. Look forward to our Thanksgiving Friday game! And thank you for your admin helping us find a permanent home after the Big 12. That place was death.

I watched the entire game and was far from impressed with NDSU.. Given it was the opener and first game gitters on both sides but truly they're nothing to be worried about.. Will Iowa blow them out? Or will it be a tough contest? IMHO.... I don't see this being close from the get go... I think Iowa comes out and blows the Windows off the doors... The Bison looked quite average against an average team

That's cool- I as well hope every game is going to be a great one between the Hawks and the Huskers... Even though I am not originally from Iowa besides for graduating back in 1997 and original Californian...now Oregon..(duh) however the 5 year plan at Iowa was the best ever time spent and where I found my wife :) who's from Nebraska... So we have a split household... But seriously you're not offensive in your post and thanks for "cool" wishes - right back at ya Red flood

#2 ranked Jacksonville State faces LSU, #3 ranked South Dakota St faces TCU, #8 ranked Charleston Southern (you know the team that just took NDSU to overtime) face Florida State.

Do you think any of those fan bases go boy "we out to be worried." "I expect very tough test" "They are going to give us a game." or whatever cliche you want to use.

This is an FCS school guys!

Look could they win? Sure. Is it possible? Yes.

To paint it like we paint is just dumb. Our fan base would be the only ones saying Mike Tyson should be afraid of Buster Douglas.

You are twisting words around, suggesting that anyone saying that this could be a close game is saying that Iowa should be afraid of them. I'm just saying that they are a good enough team to give high FCS teams a game - they have been good for a prolonged period and beaten a number of FBS teams in that period - 2011 at Minnesota, 2012 at Colorado St., 2013 at Kansas St., and 2014 at Iowa St. And, yes, I realize that none of those teams are on a par with 2016 Iowa. They are better than the other two nonference teams, and probably on par or better than a lot of the Big Ten schedule.

I got back from the concert last night and flipped on Sport center to see how they did. They already mentioned that NDSU plays Iowa in week 3. Wouldn't an Iowa loss make their day.

I don't think NDSU is on par with their past teams either. But they have a few weeks before the game yet.

The states may be similar, the program's not so much.

Doesn't ISU have a win streak going against Neb? I could be wrong but it seems like they do. Of course they have a losing streak going against Iowa & a winning streak going against Neb.

But hey, what team doesn't right?! ISU, NW, Wis, Ill, & even GD Purdue! Lmfao I'm sure there are more teams. Mich comes to mind but not positive.

I think our young d ends are going to have a feeding frenzy! We should take this game seriously and dominate instead of letting them have their pride by keeping it close.

Nebraska has won 5 of the last 6 meetings with ISU including the last time they played.

So actually ISU has a .0500 record against Ferentz Hawks is more of a fact which can't be denied.
And even though you didn't play Purdue every year, Iowa has lost to them 4 of the last 15 years so they haven't been an automatic win for you either.

They have been an automatic W when they were bad. All four of those losses were to bowl-eligible Purdue teams. 2000s Purdue was not the bottom feeder that it is now.

We are 3-1 against Michigan the last 4 times we have played them including the last 2 meetings.

We are 8-2 against defending conference champ MSU all-time too.

You really are leaving on last year Riley's first year in your stupid argument

So please name ALL the teams that Iowa has a current winning streak against & Neb has a current losing streak against. I'll admit, I can't keep up with all the teams that beat Neb anymore.

Better just keep up with your own program losses instead of worry about ours.

Last Five Years

Nebraska- 42-23
Iowa- 38-27

So you're not man enough to admit how bad Neb is? Got it. Neb, Minn, & Ind. the only teams to not win a B1G title since 2000. Will include Rut & Mary after they have 5 years in conference.

Ironic statement considering you are posting on an Iowa message. Maybe you should take your own advice and just worry about your Huskers and their own set of issues.

I broke down every regular season loss Iowa had last year. It took me no time at all! I bet you needed all summer to dissect all of Neb's regular season losses.

No question we were bad last year where did I say different... They also were terrible in 2007 and 2002. I'd admit when we're bad but all's I here from you is last year. What about the Hawks in 2014,2012,2011,2007, 2006?

Since we joined neither has Iowa... I know about your shared titles I also know Iowa has not won the conference outright since 1985....

(That and winning only 9 games every year....) But you fools keep giving Mr. Ferentz a nice raise for losing to ISU (And beating Nebraska, among other teams.....)

Congrats. I guess? (Well, in the time since Nebraska's last major bowl appearance, Ferentz has guided 3 teams to 11+ wins, including the first 12-0 regular season in school history.)

As always, I am trash talking for fun. (Indeed.) I hope this Iowa/NU rivalry pans out. (On the field, yes. In the stands?
