He might have been on the staff for the 12 consecutive championships, but Jim Jackson was the head coach until 2012...

Sorry about that. Jackson coached till'12, and is now at Shakopee. Wasmund has been coaching in the AV school district for the past 35 yrs. I guess he was HC the last 4.

He started at Valley 35 years ago but was not there his whole career. He was HC at nearby Eagan for awhile.

Few people know that Wasmund was an asst coach at Minny under Wally. When Wally retired he wanted Dalen to succeed him, but admin looked to Iowa to nab Jrob.
