Bake at 400 for 30 min really means cooking on the surface of the sun for 2 minutes. Absolutely trash every single time
We should have seen this coming when he said he had like 10 days off.OP fins a reason to complain about anything. Take a break their fellla
That's by design. You can't make money if people aren't buying new appliances every 5-10 years.I will say my parents had the same wash dryer and stove from my earliest memory to the day I moved out.
Stuff doesn’t last as long now IMO. Cars being the big exception

To be real; appliances suck ass these days. To think that a deep freezer that is 60 years old out-lasts a 4 year old stove or washer/dryer.....just dumb

Just make sure a 4-year old doesn’t hide in a 60-year old freezer…To be real; appliances suck ass these days. To think that a deep freezer that is 60 years old out-lasts a 4 year old stove or washer/dryer.....just dumb

I need to put a scotche of whipped cream on this thread....
At least we don't have to worry about ice. Americans dominate ice like the world does not know.
A lot of things Americans have wrong. But we kick ass at ice and I love it 365 24/7. Eat shit mongaloids.
But the crappy icemaker is broken in 69.9 percent of household refrigerator/freezers.
But for recommendations from back in my old days.....Put your booze and soda out in a snow drift. No sense in occupying space in the Frig.
I must be in the lucky 30.1 percent that has never had a broken icemaker. Knock on wood. But the crappy icemaker is broken in 69.9 percent of household refrigerator/freezers.
What is this "snow drift" thing you speak of?

Get a dedicated ice maker. One of my most prized possessions. But the crappy icemaker is broken in 69.9 percent of household refrigerator/freezers.
For washer/dryer, I will forever evangelize for Speed Queen. They are better at what they do than maybe any manufacturer of anything. Worth every penny.I will say my parents had the same wash dryer and stove from my earliest memory to the day I moved out.

Hell of an investment to not use! You sound like my brother. He doesn’t like his because the ice isn’t cold and hard enough. I love it. We go through a few pounds of ice every day, and it is nice to have 20 or 30 pounds in reserve. We have one of those as well. Just don't use it all the time.
I apologize, I'm an ice fanatic. If it isn't cold, it is not right.
We are close to needing new ones. I was contemplating the speed queen, but just seems like a f!ck of a lot for clothes getting washed. For washer/dryer, I will forever evangelize for Speed Queen. They are better at what they do than maybe any manufacturer of anything. Worth every penny.
I've been married (this time) less than 10 years. We have had to scrap basically every appliance in the house.
It grinds my gears
16 years and some have been replaced twice.
