yup. beating down osu was great, but the demolition of nebby 56-14 made the season for me. We have a lot to be proud of this year!

But crazy that you could make a good argument for that. And I've been critical of Wisconsin all year. If they beat Ohio State, I think they should be rated #1.

Yes, but the losses to MSU, Northwestern, and Purdue leave a nasty taste in my mouth. I still think Iowa was better than all three of those teams this year. Well, to be clear, I really feel like Iowa lost the games to MSU and Northwestern and didn't get beat. They just forgot to show up against Purdue.

Yeah, I think Wisconsin definitely controls their own destiny. If they lose, I think the committee takes Alabama at #4. I know this won't be popular but I give Alabama a little leeway because they scheduled FSU for the opener. Nobody could have predicted FSU would lose their starting QB and be mediocre the rest of the year.

If Oklahoma loses, then Bama is also likely in regardless of what Wisconsin does. Of course, should Miami beat Clemson that creates another interesting dilemma because that Pitt loss was really bad. I could see Alabama going ahead of the Canes. Just so many possible scenarios right now.

7-5 with a loss to Purdue? I’d say Iowa played a typical Iowa schedule and got typical results. Do you look at every schedule and try to pick which 5 loses it will be per season ahead of time? You could do well in Vegas if you figure that out. Or maybe there’s a prop bet for consecutive years Iowa has 7 or 8 wins.
