Ive been a bit quiet lately and needed to post about my favorite coaches in the world!!!
TnT are with any doubt two of the best College coaches and have done a spectacular job with our team.
Three finalists fighting tooth and nail scoring big points. Preforming on the big stage and making that statement.
Now our team was a bit of a puzzle this year, we continue to have some bad injuries that set guys back and keep them from achieving their goals, but injuries are part of the sport and have effected many great wrestlers.
We need to keep improving with injury prevention and training methods and they are. We also need to keep improving on the recruiting side of things, but that has gotten better and a few more top guys and we are almost there.
Overall I laugh when fans call out our coaches, they have no clue.
TnT are the Hawkeyes they are our coaches and nobody does it better.
Im pumped for finals and completely amped for the next few seasons, Im also really looking forward to our out of season wrestling and the process for our new recruits.

When was the last time we had 3 in the finals? 2010? Best tournament in a long time.

The injury talk is overblown imo, and does us no favors as it's one of many things used against us. This is either the 3rd or 4th year in a row the team was pretty healthy going into the post season.

I will only say we've had LOTS of guys AA that were more injured than anyone on this year's team(besides Parco of course). Hobbling after losses doesn't mean your injured.

And injuries during the tournament are just flukes that shouldn't be held against anyone.

Any time you can hit post season with at least 9 guys feeling good you have to be happy.

I'm willing to listen to any specific counter arguments over the last 3 or 4 years Only.

Speaking of coaching. How far back do you have to go to get bigger brick tosses than those in the Ayala and Buchanan matches?

I've advocated for changes, but can't deny that this was a good job by them. But for the Parco injury, which is not anybody's fault. Three finalists, and 5 AAs is good business. I still think we need changes, at least for the assistants.

I was thinking we’d have 7AAs. I thought we’d have Ayala, Parco, Caliendo, Buchanan, Kueter, and then 2/3 of Teemer, Kennedy, Arnold. Parco was a sure fire AA if not for injury and we only got 1/3 instead of 2/3 of that group I listed. I was hoping Teemer was healthy enough but clearly not the case. Really wild tournament all around and honestly given the Parco injury killing us in the team race we did pretty good. Still have 6 matches to wrestle today to improve where we are. Really other than Nebraska balling out, a lot of teams had not great tournaments.

Dont forget Teemer getting injured twice
