Just heard from the ticket office that if a band travels with the away team to Kinnick, they will now be in the top rows of section 101 and 102. The reasoning was that the north endzone seats will be much nicer now and they should have more demand. Supposedly this is the trend in many Big 10 stadiums as well to put the band in the upper decks or higher rows.
Not a huge deal, but if you are sitting in those sections nearby on the east side getting to your seats could be a problem before/after halftime. Also, might be a little bit noisier for the fans in that area.
