Former White House strategist Steve Bannon leaned into President Trump’s aspirations for a third term, suggesting Trump will run and win in 2028 while denying his own presidential ambitions.

“I’m a firm believer that President Trump will run and win again in 2028, so I’ve already endorsed President Trump,” Bannon told NewsNation’s Chris Cuomo. “A man like this comes along once every century, if we’re lucky. We’ve got him now.”

“He’s on fire, and I’m a huge supporter. Want to see him again in 2028,” he added.

...

“We’re working on it. I think we’ll have, I think we’ll have a couple of alternatives,” Bannon said. “Let’s say that. We’ll see, we’ll see, we’ll see what the definition of term limit is.”

Huh?

Amendment XXII

Section 1

No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once. But this Article shall not apply to any person holding the office of President when this Article was proposed by the Congress, and shall not prevent any person who may be holding the office of President, or acting as President, during the term within which this Article becomes operative from holding the office of President or acting as President during the remainder of such term.

The Republicans think what you posted is just an alternative fact.

What constitution? It's kind of in the works that no longer matters.

Nobody cares about the constitution, brah. Fake news.

I’ll believe it when I see it but as a conservative who has voted three times for Trump, I would absolutely not vote for him for a fourth time even if he’s allowed on the ballot. Regardless of how good his presidency might be these next four years. There’s a reason we have term limits, need them at the congressional level desperately.

Congress is working on the legislation now. Can we all appreciate how lucky we'd be for 8 more years of the current winning?

I also endorse Donald trump for 2028 :)

Wait, you actually think your vote will be counted the next time if he runs? You've already voted for him to have a third term.
