We got a commit. Hopefully the camps will heat things up.

We have made a lot of offers lately. Will be interesting where we end up for WR, DB and QB.

I think d-line is done, with the Jennings departure we may take two linebackers now. Probably one OL also.

I could see it being either a QB or WR recruit from Texas. We now have two offers to QBs in the Lone Star state and I am assuming it will be a first come, first serve kind of thing. If it is a WRs, I see it being Greenwood. I think Buckley's recruitment will drag out late into Iowa's football season.

We usually pick up a couple of recruits in the weeks following the camp and sometimes it turns to be a guy we know little about but comes in and has a great camp . The staff makes an offer on the spot and new name commits shortly thereafter.

I see your point, and I know the staff only likes to take one QB a year. However, it sounds like Fields is an athlete. I think they will still recruit him with the understanding that he may be playing a different position. I think it was the year Brett Morse was a senior, we had 9 high school QBs on our team.

I would like them to hand out a scholarship to Oliver Martin. If we end up with both fields and Mansell. It will be ok who knows of fields even follows his football dream maybe he just wants baseball.
