Ben Kueter is a World Champion (U20 Men's Freestyle)

I think he grows into DL. A quick 260-270 lb. world champion wrestler at DE is a mismatch for just about any OT. Hope he is able to compete in both sports his entire college career.
why not leave him at LB as he really only needs to add 10-15 lbs to be a NFL LB'r in the mode of a Jewell.

Kueter is 6'2 putting 50-60 lbs is not that wise, at 6'2 235 lbs he would be better off at his current position. RS then have him compete for a LB spot. where he played in HS.

1. Kueter has been listed at either 6’3 or 6’4 depending on the site. He is listed at 6’3 on the U of I roster. He is not 6ft2.

2. 6’3 is tall enough to play DE. Many of his HS highlights show him lining up as a rush end and he looked natural playing that position.

3. IMO he looks very lean at 220.

4. He plans to compete for and win a Heavyweight national wrestling championship. Adding 30~40 lbs will be useful for that purpose.

I believe he will start at LB but eventually move to DE. A lot of players move to a new position after they arrive on campus.

Aaron Graves played DE last year - he has gained more than 30 pounds and is now listed as a DT.

I'd expect Graves to play both spots this year as he has the explosion and Bell like to utilize the guys who have that flexibility. He could certainly slide into the type of role that LVN had last year.

Grave's is 6'5. I also believe he came in at 265 lbs. so he didn't need a lot of weight added.

apples to oranges, as a MLB he can do a lot of damage, IA has a lot of DE/DT that they don't need take a LB and turn him into a DE/DL.
