Just awesome coach. Gets his team to play hard. Hard to put down 4 out of 5 National Championships.

Did not realize he was a Storm Lake native. What a program he has put together.

Hired recently at Mississippi State. Will be interesting to see how he does there.

Maybe someone to keep in mind in 3-5 years. Fran is not the type to change his staff and if he did, it would be someone he already knows. Two of Fran assistants are lifers that have easy job, great pay and they no longer ambitions to be head coach..so not likely to go anywhere.

I’m guessing he’s probably done all he can do there. Think someone will take a chance on him moving up to D1, possibly after this season. He’s also losing his 2 guards that have dominated the last 3-4 years. Good time to leave I would think.

Just avoid an incident like the one that ended his time at Bowling Green
