Drake forward Cam Manyawu. He's a 6-8 sophomore from Kansas City who averaged 7.1 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 1.2 steals per game this past season.Who are we talking about here? I don't see a name.
Sounds like he's a ben type of guy. Great stats as a sg. Shows hes a team player. I like that he'll only be a junior and sounds like we are the biggest name on his list. Depaul scares me tho
Have you looked at their recruiting? What they've lost? They recruit better than us!What does DePaul scare you when it comes to Northern Illinois transfer Quentin Jones (6'5" Guard)? Because he'd be closer to home? And/or, do they have more money to pay?
LOL, Fran was never on that show.
they do? i didnt know that. They have more money to pay?Have you looked at their recruiting? What they've lost? They recruit better than us!
If I recall correctly he wasn't even on the court for the last 8-10 minutes of the Drake game.I have been watching some of these "big bucks" players and I would guess a pretty high percentage fail miserably. When a player is guaranteed huge amounts of money it tends to diminish the "self-improvement" that allowed them to get the big dollars. JMHO
As an example, Tony Perkins at $450K he did absolutely nothing special at Missouri this year and he is not alone. IMO
I watched 3/4 times this year and his/Perkins play was nothing to write home about and did sit out extended periods. MO paid a lot for an okay BBall player IMO (but so did a lot of schools/players). The bidding war for players is insane and most of them are not worth the expense IMO. Finding the right fit for both parties is much more important than stats IMO.If I recall correctly he wasn't even on the court for the last 8-10 minutes of the Drake game.
Please retire KF! It’s past time. How many true portal players has Iowa FB brought in? Cade, All, a couple of OL, the LB? Who else? Iowa seems to spend their $$ on maintaining their roster. I don't know the breakdown, but I wouldn't be opposed to KFz donating a mil or so to the MBB program.
I appreciate the enthusiasm, but there is a BIG difference between filling Carver and championships. Let's walk before we run.
What's interesting about a blank page?
If McCollum has the same results as Ferentz, there will be a statue. I have wanted him since December. Dude is different. There are no guarantees, but I will be surprised if it doesn’t work out. Please retire KF! It’s past time.
What's interesting about a blank page?
DePaul transfer Conor Enright (6'2" guard) averaged 7.5 points, 6.2 assists and 3.3 rebounds per game this past season. He started his career at Drake. He'll be in Iowa City Monday, March 31.
The answer is, how many have “do not contact” in their portal.
No. It was blank wouldn't download. You didn't see that McCollum called Iowa’s NIL “middle of the pack in the Big Ten” when including rev share?
(@Franisdaman ) Franny, are this players who have heard from Ben, or before his arrival?Cole Hargrove is a 6'8, 250 lb. forward. Last season, in 33 games, he averaged 32.5 minutes, 9.9 pts, 7.5 rebs, 1.8 blocks, 1.7 assists and .70 steals.
He shot 59% overall from the field and 21% (6-29) from three. He also shot 68% (50-74) from the FT line.

Thanks. They are hearing from Ben's staff
Thanks.
It closes for them to enter the portal(unless a coach leaves etc.,) but they can they can take all the time they want to commit. When does the portal close? Meaning do players have to commit by a certain date?

Hate to be a realist but we aren’t getting all 3 back.If we get Josh, Cooper and Pryce back, suddenly Ben has a 9 man roster.
The current 6 man roster:
Bennett Stirtz
Isaia Howard
Carter Kingsbury
Seydou Traore
Badara Diakite
Isaiah Johnson-Arigu
