I mean if Ben coached him, he must of liked him that he set up a visit on the day the dead period ends. Ya theirs big names out their.
Got to trust Ben to get him to buy in. Sturtz will be apart of the visit. We've got a shot! If he's only looking for money then no.
To be honest, some of u will take this the wrong way, but we shouldn't even have a shot.

I will be watching Creighton again but not necessarily rooting for those two.
Good, he won't be chucking up threes like some previous Iowa bigs. Has a great inside game.
That wouldn’t surprise me at all.
That said, it’s worth noting that he is visiting other schools. Iowa visit upcoming, and he apparently already visited Vanderbilt.
Most of the guys who just follow a coach (like all the Drake kids headed to Iowa) don’t take any visits, often entering the portal with a no-contact tag.
So the fact that Lewis is actively and publicly shopping around gives me some hope.
Hopefully Ben can come up with a 4 year "payment/compensation plan" to make it work for Nyk. Listening to Ben speak, he's a very good salesman, imo.
Nyk could have full ownership of the PG keys in a year; that has to be a great selling point. The fact that Ben developed Bennett into one of the top PGs in the country has to be another big selling point.

What worries me, however, is that we can only buy so good of a roster, where we might get to a Sweet 16, but that's as far as we can get because we can't afford the horses to match up with the best bought teams in the country.

The official Iowa basketball roster now has Banks listed as a “G/F,” rather than “guard.” (Actually I think he’s pretty much a forward, as I understand it, but “G/F” seems more accurate than “guard.”)You are very welcome.

Jacob Ognacevic is a 6'8 forward who played for Lipscomb last season. In 35 games played, he averaged 33.7 minutes, 20.0 pts, 8 rebs, 1.4 assists, .40 blocks and .30 steals.
He shot 58% overall from the field, 40% from three, and 80% from the FT line.
They will be in desperation mode as I looked at their message board and their roster was at 2!
He had 18 against ISU in their first round loss.

I have heard the same. But I think the 15-man roster limit is the more important thing to watch than the scholarship distribution.
What’s funny is he played Center 98% of the time this season. Not sure why he keeps getting listed as a guard. Hopefully we find another true big so he doesn’t have to play out of position again all year.
I had wondered if Carter might enter the transfer portal and go to a school where he could play more.
