...last weekend? I gave torbee ample time but he failed us. Mine would be Oskar Blues IPA from Colorado. I thought it was outstanding. Whatcha got?
Nice furniture. I can only assume you're over 60 years old.I popped this at the opening kickoff of the game. Instantly on my top 3 all-time list. After the game, made a mad search for more. Sold out everywhere.

We went to the Amana Colonies Oktoberfest last Friday. I had a couple of these and then bought a sampler pack from them. I don't care all that much for Millstream beers but it's the best/only I had all weekend

I was there Saturday. I had a couple ten of their Oktoberfest.
I used to love that beer when I lived in Iowa. But then I had it on tap in Iowa City and was severely disappointed. May have been a bad batch, I'm not sure.We went to the Amana Colonies Oktoberfest last Friday. I had a couple of these and then bought a sampler pack from them. Fresh hop beers are in season right now in the Northwest, and the best one I had last weekend was Fremont Brewing's Cowiche Canyon fresh hop on tap. Fresh hop beers are definitely one of the great things about living here.
It's a picture I grabbed off the internet. I don't photograph every beer I drink, dickhead. And great point about the fresh hops. Great time of the year to drink beers. Frankly, I don't think the couple days it takes beer to get from the west to the midwest hurt that much. I'm pretty satisfied with the beers available right here in little ol' Ioway. Whether they be western or midwestern. Lot of great beers to be had.Nice furniture. I can only assume you're over 60 years old.

and no, those are not my bricks, or Waterford.....
I do love Hendricks. My friend made me a G and T with Plymouth gin the other day, and it was fantastic. Need to track that one down. This one, if you ask me....

Pickle expensive?![]()
Tried this on the rocks with a pickle. Pretty good overall, but not worth the price tag IMO.
Nope and nope.Did Rogue 7 Hop and Single Speed Equatorial too. Both good beers.
I was there Saturday. I had a couple ten of their Oktoberfest.
Rogue may be one of the coolest settings for a brewery ever. But none of their beers have wowed me. And I haven't had a single speed I thought was worth a crap, other than some brown coffee ale that was decent.Whatever you say Steve.

Posts a picture of one of the most overrated breweries in the Midwest, if not America. Then calls West Coast beers overrated! That's very humorous.I'm sorry, but there are a lot of beers that have never wowed me, especially in the NW. That doesn't mean they aren't good beers. IMO, west coast beers have always been overrated.

The overwhelming majority of beer drinkers would disagree with you. But hey! What do you know? You think Green Flash is something to brag about.
Tell me more. Is it just gin and cucumber slice or tonic too?Hendrick's with cucumber. Quite refreshing.

I'm going to switch to this for the Illinois game. Usually a tito's drinker. The best thing that ever came out of Texas. It's a regular G & T, with the lime slice replaced by cucumber.

Like $35 for the big bottle. Comparable to any top shelf brand. I'm not sure I could pick it out if you gave me a blind test with Absolute, Gray Goose and kettle one, but there is most definitely such a thing as good vodka. The good stuff doesn't have that hair spay flavor and is smooth like water.Big fan of G&T. I'm never picky when it comes to vodka though. How much does that Tito's go for?
Probably because you regularly hype single speed, which in general is crap. That, on top of you hyping rogue beer, proves your beer taste is not to be followed. Just like your marriage or relationship advice. It's pointless to argue with Steve about beer. I have said many times on this site that I like what I like and Mr. Patrick is not going to influence that one way or the other.
