Looking at Joe Lunardi's latest bracketelogy, he has Iowa playing Gonzaga in Denver. At first glance, that appears to be a bad matchup for the Hawks.

Assuming Iowa is a 6-9 seed, who would be the best draw? Looking at the possibilities, Temple, St. Joe, and Butler would all be better than Gonzaga. I wouldn't mind seeing a mid-major team.

Gonzaga actually wouldn't be that bad this year. They have two good forwards and not much else. There guards are pretty bad, everyone we play is going to have better guards than Clemmons and Gesell but Gonzaga's are not significantly better.

I am guessing if we are a 6-7 seed we will get a mid-major match-up or possible the play-in game winner (11 seeds). I think the A-10 could be a good possibility as none of their teams will be high seeds. Its just a crap shoot who they will pair ya with.

I do not want anything to do with Gonzaga, their guards have started to play at a high level and they will destroy us, with their mis-matches. St Mary's as well, they have a solid PG who can attack and also score. Their big men are physical and good shooters.

Right now I would be worried if we had to play Coppin State or Holy Cross. The way this team is playing.
