Best of the 1980’s IOWA Football

Ah, the long Long passes for touchdowns. The trick plays for touchdowns. Dave Moritz, the slow white wide receiver who never dropped a ball weaving his way down the field for a touchdown, leaving the speedy Ohio State D-back grasping nothing but air.... Iowa, despite having a TD taken away by the refs, thwarts Bo's boys and retains the No. 1 ranking in the nation. Yes, sir, my friends, those were halcyon Hawkeye days courtesy of Hayden Fry. Those of us who witnessed them will never forget them.

To think I almost had to work that weekend and would have missed the game.

Been to a lot of great Hawkeye games, but nothing will match #1 vs #2 vs Michigan in 1985. That atmosphere at that game was unlike any I've been to since. Ranking a TOP 5 would be tough.
