The potential for financial nightmare is far lower with the ACA than it was without. That's what out of pocket maximums do. Perhaps a financial nightmare for you is paying a high deductible but that doesn't come close to qualifying as a nightmare for me or, I'm guessing, millions of others. You knew darn well what I meant when I said ACA insurance. And your response of it “prevents being a financial nightmare more than previously “ does NOT mitigate what I said.....that for most, it is a POTENTIAL financial nightmare. Note the word “potential.”
Swing and a miss on your part.
Still waiting for you to admit you were wrong about the standard deduction being used to calculate income for the subsidy. I won’t hold my breath though, since you seem incapable of admitting it.
All on you.
I was wrong about the standard deduction and misstated how what is paid is offset by taxes. That doesn't change the point made, but it was incorrect.
The majority of people disagree with you about the insurance coverage provided today due to the ACA even though it is less effective than it could be due to the republican obstacles put in place.
