In case you missed it last night, here's a pretty big addition.
Oliver Martin - 2017 WR (offer) from Iowa City, IA
Martin is not taking his official visit to Oregon this weekend. He'll be at Kinnick instead. May reschedule Oregon later.

Also, here's another pretty interesting addition.
Peoria native Kendrick Green, who is listed as an OL, but I'm hearing Iowa likes him at DT.
Currently has offers from Minnesota, Syracuse, Central Florida, and a bunch of MAC schools.
Could be a guy Iowa offers if they don't get Damion Daniels.

It seems like over the past few years the coaches have tried to have the commits take their official visits in January, close to signing day. I suppose its not a bad idea, especially if they are willing to come to the games on their own.
I wouldn't read anything into it. If I were a kid, I would take advantage of the opportunity to see some big local games, too.
I love this years recruiting class already!!! Even if we don't get the key guys we want left. The skill position guys don't usually come to Iowa as we all know and this is already probably the best CB/S class I've seen us have inawhile and if we don't get Oliver Martin I love the WRs we have gotten already, plus Eno! Video doesn't lie and I've loved the video I've seen on these guys more than any class I can remember for skill position players. And Gavin Holmes is better than his rivals score imo. Go Hawks keep up the great job!

I don't know if grades were a problem, but attitude and willingness to be a team player were. He grew up at UNI and will have a great 8-10 year run in the NFL.
Putnam like's Iowa...wants an offer. We will eventually offer and will be a factor. I agree he will be a national type recruit.
No word yet. He doesn't leave until Sunday night since he didn't get there until Saturday morning.
It would sure be nice if they had an early signing period in August! No time for coaches to deal with recruits now. Other than a handshake.
