I am hearing hotels are all booked downtown. Where are the rest of you staying? I am using my work bonus to take the family to the game. We would need 5 tickets to the game. How feasible if we wait or should we just go to stub hub and get the nosebleeds. I don't mine paying too much($150 a ticket or so) because we did not take a vacation this year due to work schedule. My son, 8 years old and two girls are excited as heck and I have never been to a bowl game or game like this. Only have been to Kinnick and some away games. They loved being around other Hawk fans at the away games. Any advice on where to stay, get tickets, or other activities that might be going on Saturday would be helpful. Thanks

Try using priceline and getting a hotel near the airport. We've done that 3 out of the last 4 years there for $50 a night at a 2.5 star hotel. It is a very short drive downtown about 15 minutes.

There are all sorts of lower-end hotels available. Everything downtown is $200+ a night. Would rather sleep in my car than pay that.
