A couple things:Yup, I realize Indiana has beaten Iowa 2 times, but both games were not blowouts. IU in both games shot lights out from 3pt land. If they keep it up, then so be it. Iowa I think in the game in Iowa City, played right into IU's hands. They instead of making IU play defense, they took quick shots and did not attack down low enough. Have to become more physical in the tournament and force teams to either foul you or get the basket. Iowa settled for WAY too many jumpers in that game.
I think Iowa can win a couple of games, but sorry MSU scares me. They have the shooters and the players to beat the snot out of anyone in the Big Ten. I am calling MSU to win it and it will be going away.

A couple things:
1st. Indiana controlled both games 90% of the time, and in both games had almost 20 point leads in the second half. Unfortunately, they were unable to close either game out before the final minutes.
2nd. Indiana has shot lights out in nearly every single game they have played this year! Maybe a good shooting performance isn't a fluke?
Everything else you said I believe is 100% spot on! I firmly believe IU was the better of the two teams by a wide margin in both times we played.
IU only shot 36% 1st game, 50% 2nd game. Avg 42.5% for both games, right at our average. Only shot 50% FT in that 2nd game.
These are the excuses certain Iowa fans like to use for the losses. Throw in bad bench play. Whether true or not these are the excuses. No need to look up the stats and see whether what your saying is true. Just say the opposing team shot lights out. Can't blame the coach for the zone or the players for allowing good shooters to get good looks. Some people on here are more scared of Purdue a team we beat twice then Indiana a team we lost to twice in the Big Ten tournament. How crazy is that?IU only shot 36% 1st game, 50% 2nd game. Avg 42.5% for both games, right at our average. Only shot 50% FT in that 2nd game.

Do you even objectively watch basketball? Indiana will beat you for the 3rd consecutive time and I doubt if it is even as close as either game the two have played this year. Your two best players (Joc and Uthoff) are both primarily perimeter players. Why are they suddenly going to be great attacking down low? IU has so little respect for Joc's inside game that they have a player 7" shorter than him guarding him and forcing him off the block EVERY SINGLE TIME. I like the Iowa team, but at least be objective about your own team.
While I agree with that post, I do watch basketball a lot of it actually. Indiana does not have an advantage over Iowa in 3 positions. I will say IU runs away with the PG match-up. That is the difference in the games that have been played. Yogi has been a Hawk killer since he stepped foot on IU's campus. When he was a freshman w/zeller and company they played in Iowa City and Yogi single handily broke the Iowa Press and dribbled drove Iowa all game. The other position is the 3 spot. Jok is a great player, but his defense has been lacking. I don't know why, but he has struggled defending and some say its because he is sick (excuse). Regardless whoever he is guarding is always going to be open, which sucks for Iowa. Iowa needs his offensive game, but his defense is lacking. Iowa lost @ IU by 7 and at home by 3. 10 points separated them, not a LARGE margin. If it would of been 20+ then I would say Iowa has no chance. But since they played them both times tough, I gotta think IF and again its a BIG IF, they get to play again, the hawks will beat IU.
It is tough for a team to beat someone 3 times in one year. Just saying, If and its a BIG IF, Iowa gets past Illinois on Thursday, they have to play Purdue. A team they beat 2 times and I am not confident they can do it a 3rd time.
IU is my upset pick, while I think they have a nice team, playing the 83rd toughest schedule is kind of sad. I understand you don't get to choose, but your non-conf slate was rated 183rd!
