I think so but a good gritty win against a pretty good penn state team
Has the Iowa Men's Basketball Program fallen that far? We're looking at last night's game as a positive because we improved our chances of making the conference tournament?
I get that this is sarcasm, but there is at least a little bit of truth to it. We went from hoping to one day make the Sweet 16 to celebrating staying the top 15 of our own conference.

All the Big10 teams are good relative to the other 300+ Div1 teams. Within the B1G, Penn State is not a good team.
So do I now understand this correctly that the conference tournament doesn't include all of the teams, only the top 14? Because that's bullshit if it does. I just thought this thread was a joke. One of the major points of the conference tourneys is that it's an extension of the the NCAA tournament in that EVERY D1 team in the country enters postseason with the opportunity to compete and win the NCAA tournament. Now in practicality that doesn't matter because it's likely never going to be a team winning that wouldn't have made at as an at-large, but if all the sudden conferences are excluding teams then that ruins the purity of the fact that every record resets to 0-0 and every team gets to play until they lose. Some get to lose twice, but EVERY TEAM now gets a chance. Thats disappointing to me if that goes the other way.

The Minnesota loss at home pretty much sank their chances. Lost about 10 spots in the net from that loss alone.
But a win vs [f^#%] Wisconsin would offset that.
