Blair Brooks vs Drake Stoops.

You're right. They probably just forgot to put their video up.
BTW 247 & ESPN both say they haven't signed.
The HC has announced they are part of the 2018 class, but it's apparently still a secret and they will be announcing it later. lol

Tom and Blair have both commented in Lounge. I am not going to repeat what they said but maybe they will post on this board too.

I don't know why, but I have this wild guess that Drake Stoops might have a work ethic, attitude, leadership, and toughness which would be good to bring on board.
Maybe Stoops could could be converted to safety. His dad and uncles were big hitters. I'd love to have both young men become Hawkeyes.

Brooksie was certainly a Legend. He always picked the Hawkeyes correctly and waxed the other younger Sportswriters in the pick em contests.

His grandson could be a very, very good player at IOWA, imho.

Brooksie is right up there with the best. And the BEST was
Ron Gonder, the Big shoe

Yes. I grew up listening to Jim Zabel but Brooks was every bit as good. Never heard a bad word about the man and plenty of good ones.

After he spoke, I recognized him and said, 'ahhhhh the Voice!'. His face lit up. A true Hawkeye from the word go, no doubt about that.
Zabel and Dolphin are two of a kind. Neither one was/is good at Play by Play. How Podolak has survived this many years is beyond me. Had to listen to Dolph for the first half of the Pinstripe Bowl and Cyclones game. As a listener, you had no clue as to what was transpiring on the field. Your only hope was that Podolok could get a word in.
