The final adjustment in the 4th qtr was great. I was thinking with a big lead but the buffs forced a couple of hawk turnovers on the perimeter which lead to a couple of layups and treys the timeout that Bluder would want to backdoor the overplay.
But her and her assts came up with the high ball at center court give and go to Caitlin. CC would have the ball high at the top of the key, give it up to another player there and then CC breaks behind the extended defense to get a return pass, and now CC at the free throw line again with the ball and inside of two extended defenders has basically a 3 on 1 situation. And several possessions in a row she make a dribble and drew the defender then dished off for easy layups.
It burned Colo and even though the Buffs little flurry of scoring left them down by 16 this adjustment just put Iowa back up by 20+. Some great coaching
And Bluder did it a couple of other times to settle the team and come out in some different sets at both ends.
