You seem to have a lot of time to post on this board. Yet, you choose not to look at the polls.
There is evidence that there has been an active attempt to manipulate the averages of the polls so it's tough to take them seriously right now. Maybe you are right. Maybe the polling averages are legit. If that's the case, we will find out in two weeks.
The overall +/-% is probably close.
Kamala is up by 25% in California and 18-20% percent in New York. The national averages might suggest the race is close.
In reality, Kamala is trailing in most of the rest of the states.

So a more “normal” fiscal conservative would still be in play in 2028.
Roe was a poorly reasoned case that deserved to be overturned. If abortion is so vital to your well being and that of enough other people, then perhaps a constitutional amendment is in order.

Agree to disagree. I think a Trump win validates MAGA populist/do nothing politics. MAGA people are not fiscal conservatives and IMO the deficit is MANY orders of magnitude more important an issue than the border.
Plus Trump had four years to solve the border. He built a bit of wall that didn’t do shit. A true border solution survives one month of Biden’s presidency. His solutions did not.

I don’t understand your 2nd paragraph as the border really wasn’t a huge issue (like it is now) under Trump’s first term. I do agree with you that our ginormous national deficit is a problem that both Republicans and Democrats will need to face.
You must have a short-term memory on the wall. Trump was building the wall and completed much of it. The D's took him to court at every turn. The only reason the wall wasn't completed was liberal judges and the abuse of the court system.
