Apologies for the rambling but interested to hear your thoughts:
If MSU beats PSU and finishes 10-2 are they an NY6 team?
If Iowa and MSU both finish 10-2 who gets the better bowl? Could Iowa instead get the NY6 nod?
even if we lose and MSU beasts PSU to finish 10-2 and get an NY6 bowl do we still get the citrus over a 9-4 Wisconsin or does Wisconsin jump us and leave us with the Outback?
what if MSU loses to finish 9-3 and we are 10-2. Is that like a definite Iowa in the NYE scenario or no 3rd big ten team in the NY6?
most likely pecking order:
OSU 12-1 (playoff)
Michigan 10-2 (NY6)
MSU 10-2 (NY6)
Iowa 10-2 (Citrus)
Wisconsin 9-4 (Outback)
worst case scenario…MSU loses and we lose…Wisconsin (9-4) gets the Citrus, MSU (9-3) the Outback, and Iowa (9-3) Music City
