I do find it interesting that both of the Chicago kids are the ones that are behind.

Why? If you're a great high school basketball coach, you're going to live and work in the suburbs. CPS tends to get what's left over in the talent pool for teachers and coaches and this is a very well known fact.

Yeah, I imagine Pemsl might be a good candidate with his knee/leg issues.
Don't think CP is having any recovery issues but do think he's a RS candidate because of the physical and court development time he's lost. That could potentially make 2017 a 3-man class with Connor McCaffery and another recruit.

I bet Pemsl redshirts next year

Someone's going to have to most likely, otherwise it's a 6 man class, might see two even.

One of the 3 bigs will most likely and maybe Bohanon depending on how the other gaurds can do as ball handling options.

Barring injury, no way bohanon redshirts. We don't have that luxury, Our only PG's will be Williams and bohanon so there no way one sits out, no other guards on the roster are capable of running the point for a team that aspires to compete and play in the post season. Fran will have his work cut out for him next season

Maybe, maybe not.

We have little to no clue what any of the new guards will be capable of now, let alone next year.

Bohannon redshirting is highly unlikely. We'll need more than 1 true PG in 2016. Williams might be more than serviceable- don't know. Another current frosh might play some PG in a pinch, but it sure doesn't look that way right now. PG will likely be our weakest position in 2016. Fran will want all hands on deck.

Imo, Pemsl is the most likely candidate to redshirt, if any of the new guys do. It would give him more time to completely heal and strengthen his knee post surgery. How he does his senior year will be an indicator of how his recovery is progressing. It has taken PJ some time to return to his old self after his injuries and I think it may play out the same for CP.

Pretty sure the plan is to redshirt Moss and Hutton. The coaches want Moss to focus on the transition to college, which I presume means academically. Hutton is supposed to be working hard on his shot and is enthusiastic about becoming more of an outside in player (presumably he knows his own height). Hutton is apparently a wild man in practice and is popular with the teammates. Moss is supposedly kind of a loner. Nonetheless, both guys know a lot of PT opens up next year and this coach is a guy that plays the best players.

Bohannon is not going to redshirt. He's probably going to start.
