Smartwool socks are fantastic. Have some of there base layers also and swear by them (Icebreaker also).

Armachillo? I was brand loyal to those for quite a few years. Agree with the quality, 5+ years and like new. For comfort though, I’ve switched to Tommy John.

When I was a teen circa 2003 ish, I had this stupid job where I worked with this guy that loved GW and HATED John Kerry. He learned that Kerry's wife is a Heinz heir, so he started boycotting Heinz and buying hunts. I remember we did a "grill out lunch" and did a bunch of hot dogs, and he brought hunts.

I remember this moment he was just like "god damn ketchup tastes like shit."
