Well played game and a complete all around beautiful game! Way to go Hawks!
Iowa > Wisconsin
Iowa > Wisconsin
One of our best road performances of the year.
These 2 keep playing at this level and I see a deep tourney run. Of course need to shore up turnovers and become better rebounder. But good to see hawks coming alive after the losing streak

Actually, I think the fact the Hawks DID win by 15 despite the turnovers, missed free throws, missed rebounds, shows just how dominant a win this really was.In some ways yes, but in other ways not.
Too many turnovers (& lackadaisical ones, at that), rebounds given up, and Wisky was allowed to cut the deficit down to 3 kinda late before Luka & Weezy said "that's enough of that".
This could, and should, have been a second straight 30-pt road win.
Great video but I had to turn the audio down.
When Garza and Joe W are rolling this team is fun to watch. I worry that it’s not a recipe for a deep tournament run, but maybe they can stay hot and prove me wrong.

I mean that’s the thing though, a cold shooting night in the first round and this team gets northwestern state’d right on out....That's what makes this Hawkeye offense so deadly.
Let's say a team can contain Luka AND Weezy, you still gotta account for everyone else.

it’s super fun to watch when it’s on, but I’ll be surprised (happy to be wrong) if it leads deep into the tourney.
I always was taught defense and rebounding travel. If you make those the cornerstone of your team you will always have a shot
I agree with you. There was a span of games when I thought their intensity and effort was lacking, especially on the defensive end and/or going for the 50/50 balls. You could tell when they got double digit leads they became complacent. Nunge even said as much during an interview.I think of the North Carolina game and how their intensity was incredible but this is simply a better team than then. We are playing much better defense I the last couple games
We had 11 TO's and average 9.Actually, I think the fact the Hawks DID win by 15 despite the turnovers, missed free throws, missed rebounds, shows just how dominant a win this really was.
I thought, overall, this was one of the best defensive performances they’ve had in some time.
Not perfect, certainly, but very, very good nonetheless.

Ok fine then they will get “Indiana’d” or “Minnesota’d” that better? The team that lost to NW St was pretty bad on offense but, I believe, the best in the country on D. Oooops
