I don’t see any reason why we shouldn’t make it a program goal to make the CFP in the next two years.

Going to be tough to get ahead of Wisconsin. Hopefully they lose a lot on defense.

But that goal should be stated. Look — Row the boat is already taken.

We have the defense to get there. Ask yourself if any teams over the last three years have had a 66 yard offensive game. There’s your answer.

Well, we put together a brand new offensive staff. I expect them to make huge strides between year one and two.

Breaking into the top 100 on offense is a must. That should be another stated goal.

Ok. I'm in!

Now what?

We need more fans on the road. Commit to hitting 3 away games next year.

Chart Iowa’s offensive plays and determine the average gain per play. Email this to Coach.

Run on the treadmill, increase lung capacity and stamina for the 4th quarter.

So many things you can do...

Sure. Sounds great!!!

There's so much randomness in college football that I don't think even the Michigan's and Ohio State's should set that as a goal. Focus on winning the conference and hope it's in your control at the end of the season.

Anytime you have a QB you like there are reasons for optimism. He has lots of work to do though

First, maybe Iowa should make it a goal to get more than 66 yards and 5 first downs per game.

I agree 100%. Give em 1 yr to implement their scheme & 2 yrs perform. If they can't make strides in a 3 yr span, next man in.
