I have seen some comments here and there in many of the threads, but thought it would be nice to discuss the influence that Brian has had on "New Kirk" and the running game being as successful as it is? I am very appreciative that Kirk has been open to doing things a little differently this year. Some of the changes were actually happening last year, like going for it more on 4th down. I think that Brian is in Kirk's ear a lot and Kirk listens to him. I don't know, but maybe some of the ideas that Brian had talked to Kirk about last year gave Kirk the idea to make Brian the Offensive Line Coach/Run Game Coordinator. I don't understand everything about the offensive line blocking schemes, but the success that we are having in the run game is spectacular. With the inexperience and injuries on the offensive line this year, I think that Brian has done an awesome job getting his guys ready to play. What he did to get the offensive line to play as dominant as they did today is amazing. And whatever his responsibilities as the Running Game Coordinator are, the running game looks Impressive this year.
