Bring on the Hoosiers!!!!

Lost an opportunity at another quad 1 win. Guess that.. means... absolutely NOTHING GO HAWKS.
**Edit. Actually a win over Indiana now would be Q1.

Yeah kind of irrelevant at this point. Just winning Quad 2 games helps Iowa as most of the other teams they are competing with 4 and 5 seeds for end up losing. Amazing that if Iowa beats Indiana they might legitimately be on 4 line.
Any shot at 3 if we win it all or pretty stuck at 4/5?

Connor didn't do anything outrageous. I like the fact that we have an Iowa team with some swagger and a chip on its shoulder that no longer lets other teams push them around. Connor is one of the leaders. You cannot win at the highest levels of any sport without some gutsy guys who will stand up for themselves and their teammates. Iowa has lacked that kind of player far too often. It has several now, led by Connor. And if there ever were a game or situation to pick up a pair of Ts it was this Rutgers game.

Watch out, Indiana . . . the Hawkeyes are comin' for ya. And they won't back down.

Every player on this team likes to RUN and run the entire game!! Dare i say that building the offense around a player like Luka slowed them down a bit the past 2 years and made them a bit easier to defend? Luke a is great player, but he could not keep up with this bunch running up and down the court!

Serious? Luka didn't have great foot speed but it was kinda his thing to beat his opponents down the floor.

My Bro compared Iowa last year to Purdue this year.....great inside/outside game, but both lame defensively.

Iowa last year being weak defensively, they had to have matchups that they could score a lot of points. It wasn't a coincidence that Michigan with DIckinson and Illini with Cockburn that took away the Garza post scoring advantage gave iowa fits.

What we Iowa fans didn't see coming was Oregon had a small ball team and no one to guard Garza, but all their perimenter athletes were bigger/faster than Iowa perimeter guys. They let Garza get 42 points but shutdown JBO, CMAC, Fredrick and they scored at will vs Iowa's poor defense. The guy Garza was guarding was quicker and he got a lot of points himself...so in end, the garza advantage was not enough.

This year's team is built better for Fran's running style + he's gotten them to play defense and rebound. I like this team's chances to get to sweet16 or even Elite8...but I am Iowa fan, so used to getting kicked in the nuts.

This publicity is great! National people are talking about Iowa on semi-final weekend? Already a good season could be great.

Last time I remember us surging this late in the season.
