Really want these last 2 Ws.. I do not want to be playing in a 4 vs 5 against Ohio State
I just posted this on the pay board:
The week ahead:
1- Iowa wins out, locks us in to the #3 seed
2- Iowa goes 1-1 this week (does not matter which game we win or lose). We would need either Indiana to win at Purdue or Illinois to win at OSU to secure the #4 seed. If Iowa goes 1-1 and both Purdue and OSU lose their final regular season game, Iowa would be back on the 3 line.
3- Iowa goes 0-2 this week. No chance for a double bye, we would be locked in to the #5 seed.

Playing Wisconsin is never easy but Iowa is legitimately the better team. Jump on them early and force them out of their game.
Big difference between third and fourth seeding.
I would greatly appreciate it if Indiana could return the favor for beating us twice by also not sucking enough that they beat Purdue to earn us the 3 seed, so we don't have to put all our hopes on not losing to Nebraska and not blowing the game against Wisconsin............

Simply, don’t lose to inferior opponents at home. There is no reason Iowa should lose to Nebraska and Wisconsin to secure the 3 spot for the B1G tourney. That should be motivation enough for the team with the double bye.
Ohio State is neck and neck with the Illini. If O$u wins, we will be the 3 seed with a win tomorrow or the 5 seed with a loss.
