I’m rooting for Wiscy and Purdue. Always against M State.Makes you a little sick to root for MSU and Purdue, but here we are.
And Wisky v MSU will be brutal to watch…Makes you a little sick to root for MSU and Purdue, but here we are.
Yeah Purdue at is best is very good. One of these years, the odds would dictate Painter would break through with a Final 4. They have size, depth, a great perimeter player in Ivey, great shooter in Stefanovic, etc.Purdue‘s full grown men, 3 point shooters showing why they are B1Gs elite team…
and Ivey only has 2 points
He had that last second loss to UVA a few years ago to go to the Final 4 right? But they have everything it takes to do it this year. 10 deep, 2 good bigs, star power in Ivey, shooters, etc.Yeah Purdue at is best is very good. I think you are looking for the cornholer board.Looking forward, If Iowa wins 2, they will be bein in semi finals.. Wisconsin and maybe MSU is beatable for this Iowa squad.

PU shot 51% - 41% from 3. If they do anything close to that they should make a deep run.He had that last second loss to UVA a few years ago to go to the Final 4 right? But they have everything it takes to do it this year. 10 deep, 2 good bigs, star power in Ivey, shooters, etc.
... and yet finished with 26.Purdue‘s full grown men, 3 point shooters showing why they are B1Gs elite team…

I’m probably nitpicking, but I have three knocks on Purdue as to them being a Final Four team:
1. They do not have great PG play.
2. They do not defend at an elite level
3. Their FT shooting is spotty
They’re damn fun to watch and they do a great many things well though. And if I had to pick a B1G team to root for to go the distance, it would be them!
Purdue shoots 41.1% as a team ….for the season….PU shot 51% - 41% from 3. If they do anything close to that they should make a deep run.
Ok lmaoIU had 5 guys suspended(including two starters) in game @NW last nite...NW wins their 3rd straight to move to 5-8 in the league.
NW playing very good ball right now. We will have our hands full with NW.
PSU gave Mich all They could handle but pulled out a close win at PSU, unlike Iowa.
Wolves are way more athletic than Hawks.
Need to hope they shoot poorly to get a split.
Sadly Iowa has such a r razor thin margin for error the rest of the way I could see us going anywhere from 1-8 to 7-2.
Purdue's defensive efficiency ranking this year is worse than Iowa's last year, yet I never hear announcers mention how poor of a D they have like we heard of Iowa's all year long.I’m probably nitpicking, but I have three knocks on Purdue as to them being a Final Four team:

Do you see them getting destroyed like Iowa did in the 2nd round last year?Purdue's defensive efficiency ranking this year is worse than Iowa's last year, yet I never hear announcers mention how poor of a D they have like we heard of Iowa's all year long.
Seems like Purdue has always been lackluster in NCAA play vs their success in B1G conference play.Do you see them getting destroyed like Iowa did in the 2nd round last year?
Have we had a second round yet?Do you see them getting destroyed like Iowa did in the 2nd round last year?
They’re ranked 3rd or4th in the country and you think their ceiling is the sweet 16? We’ll agree to disagree. Ivey is as good as anyone in the country. He can take over a game. They don’t need great pt guard play with him.Purdue is a pg away from competing for a Natty.
My guess is they lose in the 2nd round.
Sweet 16 is their ceiling.
Ivey scored 24 pts in 2nd half to turn a deficit into a 20 point win vs league leader and top 10-ish team. They’re ranked 3rd or4th in the country and you think their ceiling is the sweet 16?
