I assume that across the nation the consensus of last night's game is not that Iowa really is very good, but that MSU is probably not as good as everybody thought, and that despite having last year's returning champion and four teams in the top-10, the B1G just isn't that tough.

Let's hope MSU wins their next two games.

not really. I'm thinking they lose the first game in the playoffs as would iowa probably

the system is set up and rigged so that the sec or big12 wins. the deal with osu was a fluke and angered the football godz last year

I will admit to never watching one second of Clemson football but Alabama is in the sec and it's rigged so that they always win, so there's that

and the media is falling all over themselves to crown ou the king

GO MSU!!!! I agree, the system is rigged so the either AL or OU will win. MSU needs to break that up again this year!!!!!

#1 Clemson, #2 Alabama, #3 MSU, #4 Iowa, #5 OU, #6 OSU, #7 Stanford... if they are serious about getting it right. #1 Clemson, #2 Alabama, #3 MSU, #4 OU is most likely. I don't care who wins it all if it isn't Iowa.

That's because OU looks like the toughest team right now. This system doesn't favor the SEC, in my opinion, because they have to go out now and prove their dominance on the field against the top talent of other conferences, which they could, a lot of times, avoid in years past with only a one game championship game.

MSU is turrible, Clemson is gonna Clemson sooner or later, and that leaves Bama and Oklahoma. I think Oklahoma takes it all down this year. They may have lost to UT, but they have been a completely different team since that game. And I HATE Oklahoma, and I REALLY HATE Bob Stoops, but that's just the way I see it.

Msu can beat any of the teams but they better hope Cook is in better shape to throw otherwise they likely won't be advancing, esp against bama. I like their chances more vs Clemson

Well, the former system of SEC overrating always assured that an SEC team would be in the championship game. Last year it would have been Bama vs. FSU and Bama would likely have won.

Ohio State was the best team last year but they never would have been given the chance to play for the title. Thankfully the playoff has helped fix this.

The only way you could "rig" anything is by seeding the teams based on matchups, but with only 4 teams that doesn't do much because any one team can only avoid one of the other teams in order to win it all.

MSU definitely has a chance to win this thing because they will actually be there. I say go Sparty! And if not, go anybody not Bama!

It would be interesting if Spartans could trash Alabama, if suddenly they might shove out former MSU coach Nick Saban out the way LSU almost shoved out Les Miles down in that part of the country, and if subsequently Saban would be looking at coaching back in the Big Ten again! That would be a choice set of circumstances that might restore the universe and bring down the SEC a few notches from where it doesn't deserve to be now.

Definitely pulling for the Spartans/Big 10. I don't believe there is any one team that is unbeatable in college football right now and any of the 4 has a good chance.

How could Iowa fans hate fellow Big 10 brother MSU over an Alabama or Clemson , or Oklahoma. I'm tired of Saban's whinnying and Dabo reminds me of Rhoads with his antics. I think the Big 12 is over-rated, so screw Oklahoma. The better MSU looks the better Iowa looks.

I want Sparty to win against Alabama and put the B1G in the Championship Game. Represent a little. Want OU to beat Clemson, not because I live in OK but merely because I like this kid Baker Mayfield. He's dynamic. Then I want MSU's bubble to burst, hopefully losing in the last minute, or second, or - most poetically - with no time left.

That's all I want.

I'm not cheering for sparty. Screw them. Bunch of damn thugs running their mouths all night. And I'm not gonna sit here and pretend they beat us. Piss poor officiating and blatantly illegal play over the course of 22 plays beat us. The officials in that game should be reprimanded for how they officiated that final drive. The game was stolen from Iowa and then to watch Connor Cook act the way he did when he sucked most of the night and to watch douche bag Dantonio act like his team blew us out and be an arrogant prick, they can piss off. I hope Alabama absolutely decimates them.

Heck yeah!

I may hate the other team when we're playing them but once bowl season starts I'm BIG all the way.

Kick their butts Sparty!

Want them to win to help the Hawks ranking. Will I be happy if they win or shed a tear if they lose? H no.

Kind of sad actually calling out players thugs. I guess you didn't see #14 Kings running his mouth off. If you missed it, check out 4:26 in the 3rd quarter. That was a great college football game and either team could have won. Don't ruin it by displaced hatred.

I certainly am. Would like us to finish #1/2 or #1/3 at the end of the year. I would like to say our only loss was to the National Champ on a td with 27 seconds left. No shame in that. I want the Big 10 to have two titles in a row.

If it's not Alabama, it's usually Florida. When it's not Fla, it's LSU or Auburn saving the SEC until its usual suspects come back to the crime scene.

But yeah, that would be too bad if Bama lost and Saban left. But (and I hate to say it) I can't see Bama w/o Saban. If Bama and Saban did divorce, I just hope he'd be smart enough NOT to go to Nebraska.
