And I'll say "Then don't beat us earlier in the season. Lesson learned, Sparty......"MSU has to be saying "Stupid Iowa. Look what you did!"
The Big Ten hasn't done Iowa any favors sooooo..........Iowa sure didn't do the rest of the BIG any favors last week. The Buckeyes have looked either hot/cold the last 2 years and I think last week's game finally embarrassed them to the point and results we're seeing today. OSU is a very hard team to bet on - wouldn't wager any kind of money on them no matter how sure it looks
That pick was awful. Flat and behind the receiver.MSU has been living lucky this season. We got OSU's attention and they are putting it on MSU via the ground. OSUs biggest issue is JT Barrett is the most overrated QB every year.
161 rushing yards for Weber. I think they want 48 in the first half at least. MSU has 1 first down? My goodness...
OSU decided not to run against us last week because.... what again?
Might have a t-shirt made!45-3
U mad buckeyes?
We get it, you know stuff.Like I said in my 'game plan' prior to the OSU game, they should key on the RB on every play out of zone read and make Barrett run the ball. That is what they did. They executed it pretty damn well, and Barrett got tired of running the ball and taking hits and started forcing balls. Go back and look, we were hitting the
RB in the backfield play after play whether he had the ball or not. It's a zone 'read' so you make the QB read 'keep' every play. He'll get some yards but wasn't going to hurt us like those 2 RB's.....
We probably just 'loaded the box' against them, LOL.......my bad.

His posts are quite annoying, but he actually was right about that.....LOL, The Buckeye's starting RB had 6 carries for 51 yards, and their number 2 RB had 5 carries for 27 yards. So 11 carries = 78 yards.... You don't seem to have a grasp on reality. Is this Herby/Kilroy's new account?
Has JT Barret been in college 8 years? Maybe the bucknuts can make a T-shirt that says it takes them that long to get a degree at that U.Might have a t-shirt made!

Believe me, that is the question that WE (Buckeye fans) are asking. Still SMH. We're becoming as schizophrenic as Northwestern.
And of course, I can imagine that you Hawkeye fans are asking yourselves a similar question -- "How can we roll over Ohio State one week and play like sheet the next?"
All cfb fans, beginning with myself, should have our heads examined.
Because JT kept the ball instead of handing it off.
He did that because we were CONSTANTLY blowing up the RBs on plays.
The RBs didn't get many carries but A LOT of that is because the D didn't let them.....

That's what I remember. Iowa obviously game planned to take away the RBs so that JT would be carrying the ball (and getting hit a lot). Seemed to affect his passing, too. He was one tired puppy in the second half.
The facts I remember are JT trying to hand off many times but being forced to take it himself as the backs were going do in the backfield.Good story, but the facts say differently. Our three RBs had 101 yards on 15 carries, for a 6.7 ypc average.
Not trying to dismiss Iowa's game plan, which was superb and well-executed, but it was certainly aided and abetted by Meyer's "lets-ignore-our-league-leading-RB" offensive game plan.
