An interesting post from an OP that has openly stated on multiple occasions that he's pretty much here to troll and yank people's chains.

Well it’s how I live my life, or try to anyway. The party I was at Saturday had some Trump apparel and I would assume many Trump voters. I couldn’t be more different but ya know, we all got along just great. I know it’s idealistic, but living the way I try to live, I would have no one to blame but myself if things got fvcky.

In the real world, I think most people with different political Persuasions are generally decent to each other, but here on the message boards things get Amplified due to its anonymous nature.

Look within. I don’t think an event, a politician, an activist, etc will bring us together. I’m far from perfect, but look at how most of these threads end up. Posters treating other posters like garbage because of political differences. A grassroots campaign seems like the best solution. I know this will fall on deaf ears, but maybe instead of resorting to mudslinging, we can treat each other with respect. Just a thought.
