LOL.....nice try, and I mean that sincerely. I know you're serious and there are aspects of your suggestion that I think make a lot of sense. But you'd get hauled into court so fast by the ACLU that you wouldn't even have a chance to say that some of your best friends don't have IDs. And just imagine the reaction from the lefties on this board to the idea of tracking down people after they voted. INTIMIDATION! RACISM!I have no problem with a good voter ID law. Haven't seen one yet. Here's an example and thanks for suggesting it. Require an ID. If someone doesn't have one they still get to vote. The party officials can go to the listed address for a follow-up. The vote still counted but it would only take one election to determine if there was an actual problem and you don't have to check every single voter in a precinct - just the ones who failed to produce an ID. The vote still counted but at least we could shut the door on the specious claims of in-person voter fraud.
