I rewatched the game today & those 2 were invisible all day.

Great job/gameplan by the defense!

Also, did all the usual ISU losers that post on here stop by & congratulate Iowa on the win?? I’m just getting back from the game & I didn’t read the message boards the last few days.

After the 1st drive the D shut them down.
I was wrong I thought Montgomery would have a huge day.

I didn't think Iowa State stuck to their game plan very well...went away from what worked on the first drive. Got the ball to Montgomery in space and he looked very dangerous on the short passes. Rest of the game they seemed to pound him up the middle and he had no room.

That's because Iowa adjusted the D after the first drive.

Last year iowa played their game and won.. this year Iowa state thought they could beat us at our game, and a bold strategy it was but a poor choice..

So pretty much ISU can’t beat us at their game or at our game.

Maybe they should try to beat us with Ohio State’s game. On second thought, that might not be a good idea for them either

We have some ferraris on that DL...

I think this game shows that if we can get those constraint plays on offense going we’ll have a monster year...like 12-0 good. This is a top 10 and maybe top 5 defense. That usually bodes well for Iowa - its the top harbinger of how good Iowa is.

Yep, no running into the Iowa sunshine for Butler this year.

Tall and talented except for his hands maybe? A few drops Saturday as well as a critical third-down pass in OT last year.
