The Illinois Redbirds were awful on special teams in loss at UNI last season. David Johnson pulled off a 98 yard KOR, while the punt returner averaged 19 yards per return.
Can Iowa open the 2015 season on special teams, similar to how Nebraska ended our final game at Kinnick in 2014 or how Iowa played Western Michigan in 2013?
The last few times I have watch ISU FCS versus an FBS team....ISU tends to match up extremely well on the line....but once the special teams get involved....then that has been the true weakness for the Birds.
