Cade is not good. His mechanics are out of whack and he runs like he is gimpy. Kirk’s MO is to ride with a starting QB though, no matter what. Honestly, until there is a major coaching overhaul, this is Iowa football. Just going through the motions, like a lion at the zoo. Anytime we as fans see a glimmer of hope, a new wrinkle, we cling onto it… our olive branch out of mediocrity. Alas, it always splinters. Why is this coaching staff allowed to keep everything “football” privy to only a select few? Who knew we had (2) running backs suspended for the season opener? No one. No accountability in this program. We all know Brian would still be here if it was up to Kirk. Was Brian really the problem? Who knows. We as fans are just expected to keep donating and traveling and filling up the stadium and never dare to challenge anything. It has turned this fan from a die-hard to a casual and that’s really sad.
