Interesting comment Wilson. Obviously things have changed a lot. I had to do some work there every summer in high school. Yes the women were hot but only because it always seemed like it was 100°+ when I was there. Otherwise.. of course this was 50 years a go so....... Good luck to Cade. I hope he can get healthy and be successful.

While Charlie Jones and Tyrone Tracy transferred within in the big ten, I suppose you could argue they moved to a better offensive system, but I'd still call it a lateral move.
The NFL was certainly an upward move, though, and let's be honest - they may not be making that move without the Purdue transfer first....
As far as QB's, though, yeah, we've had nothing but garbage going in and out since Stanley with the possible/hopeful exception of B. Sully and the rest of the new QB room.

At some point Iowa fans need to accept the fact that the program has a real system failure when it comes to the passing game. At this point you simply can't keep blaming all the QBs.
I don't think it's hate. Most people are glad he's gone because he's bad and Kirk might have still tried to play him.
With that said, you have to wonder why he still thinks he has a future in football. He's an injury waiting to happen and his trajectory of Michigan > Iowa > Western Kentucky doesn't scream NFL hopeful.
He quit on the team when he lost his job. Says a lot.

He went where he could continue to compete for QB1 and with enough hard work, maybe, just maybe, he'll play the game he loves for one more season.

I am curious to see how he does there. It looks like they had two QBs who accumulated stats last year, but both entered the portal, so the spot seems to be open for the taking.

As an outsider, I've read "the hate" for Iowa QBs almost every year. Hint: it's not the QB - it's the coaching staff which - I'm sure - many have already figured out
Western Kentucky is more relevant than Iowa for QBs in the NFL... lol. At least they got Bailey Zappe drafted.
Cade won't play in the CFL or IFL, let alone the NFL. So I'm not sure why this is relevant.
