Caitlin Clark is the first rookie in WNBA history to record a triple double

#22 humble enough to know she doesn't get a trip dub without teammates making shots, running the fast break hard to get ahead of the defense, setting screens to get her open, and boxing out others players so she could get boards.

And that’s the difference between #22 and the bayou trailer trash.

#22 is going to be a great teammate and leader for years to come and we will get to enjoy it along the way.

Only thing about Clark's rebounds is that the post players let her get them

Clark is quick, not elite, but quick decisive first step even at WNBA level and great hands. The team likely wants the ball in her hands as soon as possible so she can make a downcourt pass on fast break to bucket or three point shooter. No good reason for bigs to slow down by getting board then having to pass off to Clark. Smart coaching if this is occuring.

Another reason is you want Indy’s bigs boxing out or impeding opposing bigs so your quicker guards can get deep rebounds.

Makes sense from every angle.

I'm not saying it doesn't make sense... But its not like she's battling for the boards down low

There is a thing as a nose for the ball. Reading misses and knowing where to be for loose ball rebounds is a skill and CC is excellent at that.

Watch her when a shot goes up she is always reacting before most other players. Her floor game is incredible

I don’t necessarily agree with the MVP discussion part although I suppose if they keep winning it's not outside of the realm of possibility. But this stat is really goddamn impressive for a rookie.
