What happens where your awards show becomes a joke.

Couldn't happen to a bigger bunch of self serving aholes. I used to watch it religiously because of the Jimmy V stuff, The Ash, Tillman and Ali awards etc.. but now between the dumb ass MC's who think their funny, and the stupid skits, its unwatchable.....
I'm pretty sure they knew that they weren't showing her winning award at all so she may not have been invited. I knew in the first few minutes when she wasn't seated in the front couple of rows, that she, 1) wasn't there, and 2) they weren't going to show the award she HAD to win. The womens collegiate player of the year. The breakthrough player, I couldn't care anyway. She "broke through" the minute she started the first game as a freshman. She's dominated the womens game ever since. Of course having the national stage in the tourney, and then going totally super women in the elite8 and final four, really put her over the top.
^ Agreed. When it comes right down to it, a breakthrough award should go to an athlete who was irrelevant and unknown until recently. Caitlin has never been irrelevant or unknown.
