Checked in with 2022 big man Cameron Fens today to see if there was anything new with his recruitment. He said he had taken an unofficial visit to UNI recently. Seems like perhaps the Panthers are kicking up their interest in the big man from Dubuque. He also said UIC is very interested in him and they have offered. Iowa still in the mix. He said they have told him they are going to wait and see what happens with the roster in the next couple of weeks (Keegan/if anyone else leaves).
Feel bad for Fens. He's a D1 player, IMHO, and probably should have a lot of offers. But, with Covid years and the portal, he just didn't get the attention.
