Can Iowa handle the MSU D-Line

No. But Iowa doesn't have to. If the MSU DBs and LBs play crummy, the Iowa QB will be able pick them apart and convert 3rd downs. With that said, the back 7 for MSU has looked adequate the past few weeks. Should be interesting.

I think the same thing, Iowa will be lucky to have 10 yards rushing.

I know we have some solid linemen, but this is the biggest test we will have seen to date...
I swear FB you must have nuts the size of hay seeds, maybe smaller. Man the F up!

Michigan state's defensive line pisses greatness. This is yet another reason Iowa should forfeit and not even bother playing. I firmly believe Michigan state's defensive line will swallow our running backs whole and sack Beathard on every single pass play.
Jesus get a grip! It's true you have balls the size of raisins.

Why are you even a fan? I have yet to see you make even ONE positive comment, it is beyond ridiculous at this point.

No shocker. I've called him out on it for years. But, he doesn't even begin to have the stones to not only defend himself, but to cite some sort of stat to back up his posts. It's truly sad.

Seriously, after him doing this all season and you're still dumb enough to take the bait? Wow

You still out there spreading dumshiite rumors about Iowa starters looking to transfer?

Are you still claiming that Jaleel Johnson is not happy and is looking to transfer?

I think our O-Line will do just fine Sat. We will win some and we will lose some, but you will see some big runs. I think it is more vital that our D-Line steps up and doesn't get pushed around by their O-Line. Go Hawks!

The O-line will do fine and actually be ready, as they had a handful with Nebraska's interior guys (still over 100 yards rushing). And we're starting to see plays that we haven't all year start to come up (Wadley's run at Indiana-pump fake draw, Krieger-Coble's throwback screen at Nebraska to name a few that I can remember). CJ is healthy also, meaning that he doesn't have to sit in the pocket, meaning our play action to the TE or better is lethal. Our O-line will wear them down as they have everyone, and I do mean, everyone else that they've played. Go Hawks, bring that title to Iowa City!!

I think it's his superstition. He believes if he doesn't post these threads Iowa will lose. So, I just don't pay any attention to them.

Haha. Raisin balls.

he's using reverse psychology.

You give him much too much credit.

He is the personification of a message board troll. Nothing more. Although his schitk started long before, when he posted in August that Iowa would lose to both "isu's", it became evident of the nature of his being on HR.

Live with it or just ignore it...

Sure. You are very sound and tough, but not overly athletic and don't get to the QB as much as you should. MSU really shouldn't have a problem scoring points.

Is there a new wrinkle coming to the MSU run game ? This year MSU has avged 155 yds a game rushing. If Iowa can control the run even to your avg, Cook will have a much harder time. If Cook were a runner or MSU had a break away back, I would think your call would be correct.

Hopefully we don't just run a couple times, get stuffed and then go away from it. OSU would have beat sparty if they just kept pounding the ball. Don't be dumb and stop if it's not working or in some cases if it is working.

Flint/JD, serious question. How are your DT's and DE? We all know that Calhoun is a stud but what about the other 3 positions?

Our offensive line is built to wear down the d-line in the second half. We will not go away from the run, ever.
