I don't have a problem with perceived trolling. In fact, here are a couple of sayings to commemorate the trolling spirit:

While I'm on the topic, my wife educated my girls (and me) this weekend on the originating history of the phrase, "Keep Calm..." It stemmed from WWII and the bombings that were devastating London. The leadership stayed in London despite the tremendous risk in order to live by example. The British kept on with life and continued to clean up the mess and "carry on" showing incredible perseverance, tenacity, and hope. Just thought I'd share.

Second time you are on here bragging about your kids...good for you. As for the Panther Train, how many All Americans have UNI produced since Schwab has been there? Hey, I like Doug as much as the next guy and I wish him and the Panthers much success. But I'm not buying the whole rainbows and unicorns at UNI bit from you. You are on here bragging about how much of a hardass you are and how your kids are tough as nails yet you are saying that nobody wants to wrestle for Brands because he is too...hardcore? Not the argument you want to make. One can make the argument that Brands is old school but I got the games of whiffle ball and pics of trips to Chuck E Cheese to prove you wrong

We have up to 165 sealed with very solid kids for the next four years with a down year hitting us in three years IMO. We have a good shot at this year and next. I am worried about 174 and up because we don't have any hammers headed our way in the upper weights but our coaches have showed that they can develop guys. BTW, who would you mentioned that the three year extension was a mistake. Who in your infinite wisdom would you replace him with? Anyways, chill out on the name-dropping and such...we get it, you're a connected guy.

Stop crying. No one cares. UNI had a good recruiting class last year and there on the way to another this year. Great for them. UNI will not beat Iowa in a dual or nationals anytime soon. Get thicker skin or don't come on to HR.

What Doug has done at UNI up to this point is as much as he will ever be able to do. They are not in the big boy category and has not and will not ever be there. Be happy with a 10th to 15th place finish because that is as much as you will see going forward Sans. Sorry man but they are threatening nobody. Isley should have stuck to football as he could of made a good DT. Heck Holloway beat him at state two years ago.

UNI will definitely take over Iowa if Brands keeps up his lack of recruiting. It just doesn't look like any of the studs want to wrestle at Iowa. I think wrestling season is grueling enough and the best wrestlers are looking for someone less intense. Schwab is much more relaxed and it's a tight family at UNI.

Good times. My kids will be in David Bonin's Renegades club that we just started. Also training with their school club, which has become one of the best in NE Iowa. Multiple nationial champs both clubs.

Anyone that thinks UNI can't eventually or accidental land two national champions the way they have it going is a fool. Two point scoring champs and a decent supporting cast and you win it. My question is why can't Brands get two champions to IOWA? Just two?

Our NE Iowa boys are making up the nationial teams and dominating the state. They also want to stay close to home and love the West Gym.

You do realize there has been a TON of discussion about recruiting or lack thereof on this board right? We recently graduated a #1 recruiting class that didn't live up to the billing, not remotely close to it. MANY on this board have questioned the strategy of who we target and go after hard. I don't think very many folks are "happy" about any of the last 5 finishes, if they are they must be new to Iowa Wrestling. The recruiting DOES need to get better. So does the development. That's up to the Coaches to handle, so either they'll get better at it or they'll be Coaching a club team in NE Iowa, instead of roaming the halls of Carver Hawkeye.
