I love Joe T, but he’s just got a really bad case of freshman. He’ll be just fine. Just a bit inconsistent right now.
Personally I’d take a 4 year player over a 1 year guy, no matter how dominant that 1 year is
Really? You’re a moron!

Don't forget the TO that went to Garza in the 2nd half that was Joe T's fault for not going to get the ball
LMAO
I was being somewhat facetious......
The turnovers were a reason to be angry.
What do you think Tom Izzo would do if his team started turning it over like that? He probably punch somebody at half court.
Idk I could barely tell with how little he played last night. It's starting to seem like everyone hates Joe T except for me. Fans on here, Fran, the refs...am I in the twilight zone?!
Seriously though, yes I can admit that wasn't great last night. Although he had three turnovers in the minutes according to the box score, one was a non-travel travel call. And the other was a very weak offensive foul call.
Also, Fran does him and others a complete disservice by pulling him as soon as he makes a couple mistakes. He needs time to be able to play through his mistakes like everyone else. He should have had more opportunities last night, especially once everyone else showed they couldn't hold onto the ball either.
BTW I called that Cincy run when the Hawks were still up 12. Fran was freaking out (which he's gotten better at this year) for no reason again, and the players started tightening up. He's the only coach in the nation that can cause his team to play scared with a double digit lead.
If you are an Iowa team that struggles to recruit athletic Pg's then it very well might be smarter to take a 4 year guy that plays at pretty high level but not NBA ready level vs a 1 and done. The last 1 and done Iowa had was under Tom Davis and that guy didn't help the program much.
Yep, 1 and done works well if you can get a consistent stream of them, or if they're lottery picks.
Another example, THT at isu accomplished very little for Prohm.
THT is gone and ISU is better than Nebraska. That has more to do with Prohm and the players around THT, than him. They would be worse than Nebraska without him.
I concur, although others on here won't agree with this line of thinking.Personally I’d take a 4 year player over a 1 year guy, no matter how dominant that 1 year is

Talen Horten Tucker, aka THT.huh?
My guess is Treehorn doesn't know the difference between Haliburton and THT.Talen Horten Tucker, aka THT.

He played in Nashville growing up and when Penny Hardaway saw him he paid for his mom to move to Iowa and join one of Hardaway's AAU teams in the midwest Sorry, just had to say something funny.Carton played for Bettendorf, but was he really an Iowa native? Anybody know how he ended up playing for the Bulldogs?

That was maybe his worst game of his life....acting like that is representative of what his 4 years will be like or even what not quite half of his freshman year has been like is what got the moron comment. He has had good games too and will be fine with some experienceThanks! I guess I like a PG that can handle the ball and makes relatively good decisions so yeah, loved the 3-4 straight turnovers last night. Really helped the team.
